Answers to common questions about Genomic Flow, how it works, and what to expect when you get started.
Functional genomics looks at how your genes may influence the way your body responds to things like sleep, nutrition, exercise, stress, and other lifestyle factors. It helps us connect your genetic information with your health data and how you’re feeling, so you can better understand what may be influencing your health and make more informed choices.
Your plan is built around your individual genetics, health data, symptoms, lifestyle, and goals. Rather than following a one-size-fits-all approach, we use this information to identify where to focus and create practical, personalized steps that make sense for you.

It can be especially helpful for people who are experiencing changes in energy, sleep, mood, metabolism, or other aspects of their health and want to understand how their genetics and health data may fit into the bigger picture.
We start with a brief 15-minute conversation to learn what you’re looking for, answer your questions, and determine which Genomic Flow approach may be the right fit. From there, I’ll explain what information we’ll need and what the next steps look like.

Your genetic results can show tendencies or sensitivities that may influence how your body responds to things like nutrition, exercise, stress, and other lifestyle factors. They are not a prediction of what will happen to you. Your genetics are one part of a much bigger picture that also includes your environment, lifestyle, age, and other factors.
No. Genomic Flow is designed to help you understand your genetic information and how it may relate to your health and lifestyle. It does not diagnose medical conditions, prescribe medications, or replace care from your physician or other qualified healthcare professional. When medical evaluation or treatment is needed, I’ll encourage you to work with the appropriate healthcare provider.
Once your results are available, we'll review them and show you how to access them on the website. We’ll then identify the findings that are most relevant to you and use them to guide the next steps in your Genomic Flow plan.
